Robert W. Foran is a Co-Founder, Principal, Chief Compliance Officer of Granite Investment Partners, LLC.  Mr. Foran is also a member of the Management Committee and the Operating Committee overseeing the firm’s compliance, IT and HR operations.

Prior to founding Granite in 2009, Mr. Foran was a Director of Institutional Markets at Transamerica Investment Management, LLC (TIM), which he joined in 2005 when it acquired Westcap Investors LLC. He was responsible for sourcing and servicing some of the firm’s largest institutional client relationships. Prior to Transamerica, Mr. Foran served in a similar role as a Vice President at Westcap Investors LLC. Before joining Westcap in 2000, Mr. Foran worked as an independent technical consultant to the Southern California aircraft industry for ten years. Mr. Foran has 21 years of investment industry experience.
