Richard A. Passafiume is a Principal at Granite Investment Partners, LLC. Mr. Passafiume is a Portfolio Specialist responsible for business development and servicing institutional and intermediary clients.

Prior to Granite, Mr. Passafiume was a Director of Institutional Markets for Transamerica Investment Management, LLC (TIM) as well as a Director of Retail & Retirement Markets for Transamerica Investment Services, Inc, which he joined in 2002. He was responsible for business development and client service, managing several of the firm's largest institutional and registered investment advisory relationships. Prior to TIM, Mr. Passafiume served in a similar role with AEGON USA in the Retail and Advisory markets. Prior to AEGON's acquisition of Providian Corporation in 1998, Mr. Passafiume spent 2 years as Regional Sales Director for Providian and 3 years as a marketing associate for National Home Life. Mr. Passafiume has 28 years of investment industry experience.
